The Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan has released the first merit lists for undergraduate and postgraduate programs for 2023-2024. The merit lists have been released for self-finance and FATA seats.
The first merit list for undergraduate programs was released on September 4, 2023. The second merit list will be released on September 8, 2023, and the third merit list will be released on September 11, 2023.
The first merit list for postgraduate programs was released on August 18, 2023. The second merit list will be released on August 22, 2023, and the third merit list will be released on August 24, 2023.
The merit lists can be checked online at the BZU website. To check the merit list, you must enter your roll number and date of birth.
The merit for BZU is calculated based on the following formula:
Merit = 30% (Matric) + 30% (Intermediate) + 40% (Graduation)
The weightage for each examination may vary depending on the program.
If your name is on the merit list, you will be eligible to take admission to the program. You will need to submit the required documents and pay the admission fee in order to confirm your admission.
The admission schedule for BZU is as follows:
- Undergraduate programs: September 12-16, 2023
- Postgraduate programs: September 19-23, 2023

- Enter your CNIC number and roll number.
- Click on the “Submit” button.
The merit list will be displayed on the screen. You can also download a copy of the merit list for future reference.
The merit list is prepared on the basis of the candidate’s academic performance in the previous degree. The seats are allocated to the candidates in order of merit, starting with the highest scorer. If more seats are available than qualified candidates, the remaining seats are filled through the waiting list.
If your name does not appear on the merit list, you can still apply for admission by submitting a late application. The university will announce the late application deadline.
